Can I download ANY of the DLC songs from Guitar Hero 5 straight into Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock?
More specifically: When I get Warriors of Rock, can I go to the music store and download, for example, the Shinedown three-pack right into Warriors of Rock? NOT IMPORTS. I mean treating it like its Warriors of Rock’s DLC.

DLC songs from GH5 will work on WoR, so you should have nothing to worry about.

You don’t need the disc for GH Metallica, GH5, or Smash Hits imports. You just need your manual wit hthat little code on the back.

I have another question. I want to know what is good DLC for Guitar hero. I have none, but would like to fill Warriors of Rock with a lot of good stuff. I have planned to buy Disturbed’s pack, Shinedown’s pack, Avenged Sevvenfold’s pack, Breaking Benjamin’s pack, and The Used’s pack. Just wanted to ask what is good other than these bands.

I mostly want to play on guitar, maybe bass. I don’t sing. period. and I am pretty poor at drums, so to answer your question, I really want good rock/hard rock songs which are at least moderately difficult, and are not Megadeth.
Okay, in that case ignore Born to Run and Mr Brightside. But the rest of my suggestions still stand. Also check out the Guitar Hero On Tour Modern Hits Theme, it’s free (I think) and has a really challenging guitar part.

There may be a compatibility update- other than that you will be fine. Once you export songs they are treated as DLC in your library.

If anyone is having problems with the Metallica import costing points/money like I did, here is what you do:
Go to guitarhero.com and look for import somewhere (vague lol)
You have to use the code on the back of the manual for BOTH GH:WoR and GH:M and they will give you a special code that you then input on your console to get the import for free. Remember it is only this week it is free and only in the US.
I pre-ordered my copy of WoR from Amazon, but I didn’t get same day shipping. Is there a chance I will miss out on the free export for Metallica if I don’t get it till next week or so?
If you don’t get it in before this Tuesday (end of week obv) then you will miss out on getting it for free.

You can’t have a Nickelback track pack without Animals. That double-bass is killer. Other than that (and the absence of Follow You Home) great choices.
Also would prefer classic Linkin Park, but if the rumours are true then a Thousand Suns six-pack is likely. Which won’t work very well since it’s a concept album – it’d be like having six tracks from The Dark Side of the Moon; a couple of songs would be good but most just wouldn’t be well-suited for GH.
I totally agree with you on the Linkin Park sentiment, however, I chose songs off the album which have the most guitar parts. Iridescent, the Catalyst, Waiting For The End, and Blackout have substantial guitar parts. Besides, the electronic songs are sometimes really fun to play! Like Fireflies from Owl City!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t PSN international? If that’s your issue, then you might want to check your Playstation settings.
Just create an American PSN Profile.
I’m Brazilian too, and I have imported all discs into GH:WOR. Also, Brazilian PSN is still in progress, there’s nothing on the store. With an American PSN Profile, you’ll also be able to buy DLC for the game.
Just make sure all your discs are all from the same region, since it’s pretty common finding european discs over here.

Seeing that Acti is releasing DLC on previous DLC and GH WOR artists, a Papa Roach pack is probable.
Also, anything by Atreyu at this point would make me happy.

Hello guys, I’m from Brasil as well, and I have a few doubts… I’m willing to buy GH WOR, and i don’t have any other GH games.. Is it easy to download these games? Are they free? If not, how much is it to download a song, aproximetly? I have another question… can I use my friend’s other GH games (Band Hero, World Tour) to import songs to my WOR? The only thing I need is the code in the manual?
So basicly what is easier and finnancialy better:
1- Buy WOR, Band Hero, World Tour and import their songs?
2- Buy WOR and download the songs and packs?
3- Buy WOR and import songs from my friend’s games?

Hey bro. Here are some answers:
You can’t use your friends copies of the games to import if they have already used it. You must have a import code that hasn’t been used. For Xbox, a song DL is 160 MS points per song. Not sure on the others though. I would recommend buying WOR (It is great), then getting lots of MS point cards and Dl’ing the packs and songs you want. Then, if you want o import those games, see if your friends haave used the import code yet, and if they have, then go buy a NEW )MMust be new) copy of the games and import them. I hope that helps you. Rock ON! BTW, WT import is only like 360 MS points, and like 480 for BH. SO one point card should do it/

You don’t need to worry about MS Points if you own a PS3… You do need to worry about the fact PSN isn’t back up yet though

This is everything available as of right now… It may change in the future but there is little evidence pointing to that happening anytime soon.

Was going to play Cult of Personality on my wii today, and noticed that it was not showing on my quickplay+ menu in GHWOR… I had bought the GH Smash Hits and then used the code (begrudgingly paid 600 points also) to add the content to my GHWOR… I checked the website and nintendo website, deleted the content from my sd card, redownloaded it, restarted and everything… still nothing showing! HELP Please, I don’t know what else to do. Everything else shows, but the Smash Hits additional content…

I jumped on GH:WOR for the first time in a few months.
All the tracks I’ve downloaded are not showing up.
I looked online foe possible solutions and saw there was an undated to be downloaded; the songs would surely return upon installation.
So, I update and return to my track list.
Of 38 songs, only 8 have returned.
How might I resolve this problem?

Depends on what game store it’s in. If it’s in GH: WoR’s store, then you can get ‘em. If they’re in any other game, they would have to have been made compatible with multiple games, much like Metallica’s Death Magnetic Album, or the Neversoft pack. Either that, or you have to get that game just to play it.
This is Davman007, i’m currently 140th highest star collector worldwide, my problem is they should have put EVERY song from gh import games & not only half of them, also, heaven and hell should be on gh and more Megadeth songs please1!!! How about their new album Super Collider when it comes out?
