Deal: DJ Hero 2 Turntable Bundle for PS3 and Wii only $40

News has admittedly been pretty slow on the Hero front as of late, but here’s something that might occupy you while you wait for us to break the next huge news: the DJ Hero 2 bundle for extremely cheap!

The game, which we absolutely adored in our official review, hasn’t hit this low at retailers yet, but from a site as trusted as Newegg, you’d be foolish not to bite if you’re looking for a turntable and the latest entry in the DJ Hero franchise.

You can check take advantage of this deal on either the Playstation 3 or the Wii and get ready to break out your inner mix-master. And guess what? Even if you’re a 360 spinner, you can still get the same bundle for your console for $55. Not too shabby.

UPDATE: Looks like Amazon is matching the prices on the PS3 and Wii versions, so if you aren’t familiar with Newegg (even though you should be) and want to go with Amazon instead, that is now an option! The 360 version is slightly more expensive at around $56.

I waited to get DJ Hero 1 (the $130 bundle for Xbox 360) until it was $50, which I thought was a steal, it was $40 like a month or two later, I should have waited a little longer. And not that I would ever play a music game on the Wii(gotta have my DD 5.1, Pro Logic II doesn’t cut it), but Toys R’ Us had the Wii DJ Hero 1 bundle for $20 at one time, didn’t they?). I’ll probably bite when the $100 Xbox 360 bundle is $30-$45 (I’ve seen it for $50), if I have to wait till summer like I did with the 1st one, that’s fine.

I wish the Guitar Hero games dropped this fast but then again I usually can’t wait on those and buy them within the first month of release (if not on launch day).

Tesco I think was doing a similar deal here in the UK. It was the DJ Hero 2 bundle plus DJ Hero game for free.

The deal today is $40 for the 360 bundle. Jump on that you guys.

The PS3 and Wii bundles are back up in price, though.

This low price drop might be due to the fact that alot of people are simply not buying DJ Hero, the ratings for the game however are upfront and true, the gameplay is great but not my cup of tea when it comes to enjoying the music. If only the music was good I would have considered buying it since I did enjoy playing it very much.

When I was at best buy in black friday not alot of people were playing this game or buying it so I don’t know. At least that is why I think the prices are low

I would be more opt to buying this if these songs exported to Guitar Hero.

is this the end for DJ Hero? I mean, the sequel did everything right. I thought DJ Hero 2 was totally awesome and loved everything about it. Apart from improving gameplay, using real life DJs, and giving us a TON of DLC for it, I could not think of any other way to make it better.

It has Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne and TONS of other mainstream artists, I thought it was going to sell :/
