Tomorrow’s Rocksmith DLC is a mixed bag of hit songs from 1976-1982!
First up we have the iconic progressive Kansas anthem Carry On Wayward Son which if you don’t remember from South Park, Guitar Hero II, or from the hit show Supernatural, I ummm… I’m not really sure what to tell you? Next we have the complete surprise of a Judas Priest single from their 1982 album Screaming for Vengeance, it’s You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’. To wrap up the pack we have a song that has been covered multiple times over the years, it’s the 1977 Ram Jam hit Black Betty!

Awesome pack, I’ve been saying that “Carry on Wayward Son” should of been there since release or soon after. What can I say about “Another Thing Comin’”? Its only my favorite Judas Priest song of all time, I was sad when it wasn’t part of the Judas Priest pack. Black Betty is the odd ball for me, sounds pretty good, I might just pick that up as well. Keep up the great work

Now, before you wonder why I would pick out such an obscure 1990′s band, it’s because they were giving away several copies of the game when it first came out, so I figure maybe they’re working on something for them? Could just be they like the game though I suppose.

Yeah, Incubus is not totally crap however I won’t spend $3 in a song I know I won’t be playing… Good for you Incubus lovers, glad you will get what you have requested. Variety is always great, but honestly I really thought they were going to end the weekly DLC with some EPIC surprise, such as Scorpions, Ozzy or Iron Maiden perhaps…? Oh well…
Agreed…maybe they will come back in two weeks with the epic surprise since everyone will be a little down about weekly DLC ending? One can dream…

I have nothing against Incubus in general, but that particular song isn’t all that great in my opinion. Songs like “Carry On My Wayward Son” and even “I Don’t Care” (regardless of one’s opinion of Fall Out Boy) get your blood pumping, “I Wish You Were Here” is pretty damn sedate.
Wish you were here is the third track I the album, not the 1st and name of album is morning view! That is not a name of a street!! Don’t no incubus that much tbh
The album was recorded near a street called “Morning View Drive” and Wish You Were Here was the first single released from the album, aka the lead single. Not personally a huge fan either, but that’s the answer to Thursday’s hint.

I’m thinking it’s gonna be an all-Incubus pack. The way they worded the hint, “The first hit off THE band’s…” makes it sound like we’re only talking about one band. They didn’t say “The first band’s” or something like that, they said “the” band. I might be reading too much into it, but I guess we’ll find out soon.
If it’s an all-Incubus pack you can count me out. I like them well enough I suppose, but not nearly enough to buy 3 (or 5) of just their songs. I really like “Talk Shows On Mute” but that would be a pretty boring song for Rocksmith. I’d buy “Anna Molly” but that’s about it.

Yeah, their second hint was pretty much a dead giveaway. Sucks that it’s an all-Incubus pack, but at least it included Anna Molly. I’ll download this one song at least, prob not the others though.
1 question, does any1 no the reason(s) that rocksmith can’t continue with weekly dlc? Rockband 3 managed this up to 3-4 yrs cum April! They sumtimes have full albums released. Kind of worrys me that dlc is goin to fortnightly again! Unbisoft have no real competition really! Rockband pro is pants and total rip off! Band fuse? Will we ever see? Justy concerns!
The new consoles I believe will be the main issue. The PS4 won’t work with PS3 games in the normal way but eventually being able to work via the streaming service Gaikai. In short, if Sony decides not to include Rocksmith on this streaming service then Rocksmith is dead so I wouldn’t be surprised if DLC ends sometime between April and September this year if Microsoft go down a similar path regarding backwards compatibility.

Sucks, it’s not Incubus(Death Metal band, playing now as Opprobrium) which first used this name, unfortunately they didn’t copyrighted it. Those new guys did and forced the old Incubus to change name :<
One of the files of Anna Molly song spawned in game directory near 10 January after one of the steam updates which contained it's .xml file, even was selectable from song menu. Wouldn't start playing tho.
Just because a new system comes out doesnt mean anything right away. It takes a while for people to jump on.
