Commercial family uses Guitar Hero custom to inform mother of car purchase

Alright... who's the wise guy that deleted "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" from my game?!

If you’ve been watching any amount of TV over the past week, particularly football, you may have noticed these unrealistic commercials that depict various people receiving nice $75,000 Lexus vehicles as holiday gifts. We’ve never met anybody that has lived out this fantasy in real life, but apparently one of you crazy Guitar Hero fans has come through in the clutch for your mom or wife.

The latest advertising campaign for Lexus’ annual “December to Remember” sales event features an advertisement called “Holiday Hero,” and heavily features Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock showing a custom setlist. We can’t quite figure out what console they’re playing on in the commercial, but we’re pretty sure that someone at Lexus visited consulted the software forum on Scorehero to get the desired result.

The family leads the unsuspecting mother towards the TV to play a song called “Mom’s Gift.” Upon playing it, she hears a generic sounding holiday song that somehow tips her off that she’s getting an expensive car for Christmas. I know that’s probably Lexus’ theme song for the holidays, but really, who would make that connection?

Also, where did they get this magical hybrid of Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero World Tour? Did the family modify the game? Did they use duct tape? Who knows!

This whole advertisement is an anomaly, but either way, it’s nice to know that Guitar Hero is still around to spread the true meaning of the holiday season through material possessions!

Someone check on GHTunes and see if we can get “Mom’s Gift” we want to try to get the optimal score.

Very easy, it has to be PC

The controler is just some random controler not being from Wii, Xbox or PS3 has to be a PC or they are not using the controller at all. I know well for a fact that you can modify songs on the PS2 version of GH3 but looking at the video carefully the graphics of the game are more detailed, I don’t think you can modify on 360, PS3 or Wii…..It has to be a PC, youtube is flooded with guitar hero songs that were never ever seen in Gh3 but those are PC Guitar Hero games, and like every PC game you can modify it you just gotta know how to do it….they are using a GH5 controller but the GHWT and GH5 controlers and all other conrollers before it can connect to the PC given you find the right adapter for it especially if you have the GH2 guitar which you don’t really need any adapter for it since the wire is a USB, and judging from the song though I can’t hear it, I can be pretty sure it’s a normal GH song, they just put that lexus song over it, or like I was mentioning before it’s a modified GH3…..

My conclusion or rather oppinion, it’s gotta be PC GH3 it has to be, because GH3 on the PC can be hacked and you can add your own songs to it whatever you want and even create the charts….

If this comercial made out at the TV, idk how Activision would react in all honesty, I mean these guys did modify the game and therefor somewhat illegal, either that or they just played a normal GH songs and swapped out the original sound to their sound….

I’m really droning on this so I’ll end it here but I want other people to judge this too, I’m surprised a car company is using GH for comercial purposes, this might help boost GH sales XD
