That much has been made clear. So without any new games coming out this year, how are you supposed to stay interested in the franchise while Activision works to innovate enough to warrant a comeback tour? How about by getting a free game or bundle, plus a little swag to go along with it?
If you decide to participate in the October 2011 Activision/TheHeroFeed Community Night this weekend, and would like some good ol’ fashioned free stuff from the series in question, jump on Twitter and let us know what you’re playing during the event by using the #GHComm hashtag, as well as the #GHSwag tag, letting us know you’re interested in the freebies! We’ll randomly select several winners to receive some free Guitar Hero swag!
That’s it! That’s all you have to do!
So, what’s the catch? Okay, there is ONE catch… shipping costs. We have so much stuff to give away, that shipping it all out to you lovely folks would put us so deep into debt that we would not only have to close the site, but close the doors of our homes. So that’s where you come in.
If you are selected to receive free stuff, we’ll contact you on Twitter (you must be following @TheHeroFeed) and we’ll get your information. From there, if you’re interested, we will send you our PayPal information and the estimated shipping cost. After that, we’ll be shipping it your way! That’s it!
Again, we will be selecting several people to receive prizes on each console, so by participating, you’re putting yourself in very good position to take home some goodies! Also, just by tweeting #GHComm during your participation, you’ll be entered to win Munitio Modern Warfare 3 Billets 9MM earbuds ($89.99 value!). Keep the rock alive!
Please keep in mind: Items may take several weeks to send out. Full band bundles and international shipments will cost significantly more to ship than games and other items will. Many will enter and several will be selected. TheHeroFeed.com and Activision are not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipment due to mishandling by carrier.
