GHTunes Keeps The Party Going

If you follow @TheHeroFeed on twitter you may have noticed a tweet last week linking to a thread on Scorehero full of GHTunes songs to try.

GHTunes is an often lambasted feature of Guitar Hero games due to the incredible amount of patience and effort it takes to make a song that actually sounds good combined with the fact the MIDI samples still don’t sound anywhere near as good as an actual guitar.

Now that Guitar Hero is on an extended hiatus many people in our community have rose to the occasion of generating excellent content to both challenge you and restore a certain amount of re-playability to the stagnant franchise.

Here are a few of my picks to check out from all three systems:

Playstation 3:

FF Battle Medley by Vyzzuvazzadth

Caprici Di Diablo by Daedrill + Vyzzuvazzadth (also available for Xbox360)

Wizards of Winter by TFChronos3

Nintendo Wii:

Princess of The Night by HamsterForce

Escape by HamsterForce

Black Fire by HamsterForce (ed: lol)

Xbox 360:

VADRUM Meets SMB2 by SwiftlySwift

CMBOBallz Air by InfamousColin

UnderAGlassMoon by Freeze Berriez

So there you have it! A bunch of new content to play on Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, and Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock.

What are your thoughts on GHTunes? Do you like the fact that it allows free content of music that may never see the light of day on Guitar Hero (or even Rock Band)? Are you able to get past the way the music sounds and focus on the enjoyment of the charting?

The Wii also has a sweet video game medley. I don’t remember who it’s by, but it has Pokemon, Mega Man 2, Zelda, Mario, F-Zero, and others.

    >>>This is Freeze Berriez first of all.

Thanks for the link, toymachine 🙂

For any who care, I have plenty of original creations and covers across several accounts; Parama on GHWT-era Wii, Parama on GH5-era Wii, and Freeze Berriez on GH5-era 360. Both Parama accounts are defunct, so don’t expect anything new on them, but I release something new on Freeze Berriez at least once every few weeks. And I only do high-quality covers and original creations, so make sure to check out the tracks I’ve put up!

I’m sorry but, this is all bad midi files, I mean I have to give the guys that made them credit. But I just hate the sound it will always sound like crap to me, I never download anything from GHtunes because it sucks, but let me state that I am not dissing on the people that created the midi files, I just don’t like how they sound no offence
